There are millions of Americans who suffer from excessive sweating, and the problems seem to become even larger every year. A limited number of researchers are trying to figure out the reasons for this. The problem with excessive sweating is both a health issue, but more it is an issue that causes problems and limitations in our social lives as well as in our professional life.

There are many different causes of excessive sweating. In this article we will get an overview of some of the most common causes. The article will also give some guidance towards how to deal with the problem. Even though, in some cases, excessive sweating is inherited from your mother of father there is no reason at all for you not to deal with the issue.

The number one reason for sweating is over active sweat glands. Since this is a part of your body’s cleansing and cooling system it is not very much we can do about this directly. However, by doing simple changes in the way we live we are able to adjust this and change the activity level of our sweat glands.

One of the top causes for excessive sweating is an unhealthy lifestyle. Fat, sugar and salt combined with lack of activity and exercising will not help you one bit to stop your excessive armpits. By walking for 30 minutes each day you are helping your body a lot. Also eating a little healthier will do miracles for your overactive sweat glands.

Other lifestyle products that cause you to sweat more are cigarettes, alcohol and some drugs. All the mentioned products include a lot of toxics and poison that needs to be eliminated out of your body. A lot of this work is done by your sweat glands. These same products will also make your heart work harder witch result in a higher activity. This will also bring you to sweat more in the body’s work of cooling down your body.

Bacteria are an important reason for excessive sweating. Materials found in soaps and deodorants get stored in your armpits when you use the wrong products. By changing to more natural hygiene products you make it less of a work involved in eliminating the bacteria flora in your armpits. Hence you will sweat less.
